Here are some questions we asked Courtney:

You’re one of the faces behind Babyccino Kids, can you tell us a little bit about what you do.
Babyccino Kids is an online shopping portal with a stylish selection of children’s boutiques. We represent around 250 shops and brands, sorted into different shopping categories making it easy for mums to find the perfect boutique for their shopping needs. We also have a blog which offers daily inspiration for families in the form of product reviews, craft projects, decor ideas, recipes, and other parenting topics.

Do you feel that your workspace properly reflects your personality?
I think so! I’m a little bit of a neat freak (friends will laugh that I said ‘little bit’!), so I like things to be organised and tidy. I joke that I can’t concentrate if there is clutter around me (which is why I try to keep my husband from using my desk!). Ha! 🙂 Also, my office looks out at our back garden and it’s so nice to look out at greenery and nature, and I can keep tabs on my kids when they’re playing outside.

If you could be any where in the world right now where would you be?
Somewhere warm and sunny! On a beach in Italy with my family perhaps? I wish I had an instant transport button!

Is there a person in your career who really made a difference or influenced you in any way?
I’m really thankful to have business partners who inspire and challenge me to keep growing our business in creative ways. My partner, Esther, is always coming up with new ideas and concepts, and it’s so nice to have someone to bounce ideas back and forth and to keep you motivated.

Copyright © 2023 · Babiekins Magazine | A Trendsetting Kids' Fashion Magazine and Online Community for Parents and Children Alike · Since the Southern California birth of Babiekins in 2010, the magazine has grown from into an internationally-recognized print publication with a global circulation and now a thriving online community. We are more than a kids’ fashion magazine. We search everywhere for inspiration, and go beyond trends to bring you fashion, style, decor, design, books, DIY, parties, and playthings. Our readers look to us to keep up with the best and most up-to-date concepts in the children’s market worldwide. We have an eye for quirk. We’re high-fashion, but we value whimsy over tradition. Playful childhood is more important to us than making kids into copycat adults. We believe life is beautiful, life is valuable, and life changes when you see it through the eyes of a child. We seek to transcend skin color, language and zip codes and bring out the real, wild, magical creativity inherent in every child. And behind Babiekins is an optimistic team of mothers-turned-editors, working from home, often with our own little babiekins climbing on, under and around the desks. We want to encourage you, and challenge you to see something different — something special — in yourself and in this world we all share. Welcome to Babiekins!
