Go, Dog, Go! has a very special place in my heart. Until I was eight years old, I didn’t live anywhere near my grandparents (the Atlantic Ocean separated us) so it was hard for me to imagine what they looked like and sounded like.
My grandma, though, made a cassette tape recording of herself reading Go, Dog, Go! and mailed it to me along with a copy of the book. I can’t even tell you how many times I listened to it! Now, when I read the classic lines to my daughter (every.single.day), I can still hear my Grandma’s voice in my mind.
What books remind you of your childhood? Do your babiekins enjoy the same stories you loved when you were little?
