We love this brand. It’s as simple as that. Pure Love.

Anneli, the designer, will tell you a bit more about her brand and herself.

Can you tell us how it all started ?

Marloe Jr., was born in the moment I realized that the market for childrens clothing was completely segregated into either boys or girls garments. I was constantly looking for leggings for my little boy and there were none to be found. I was struck by the boredom and monotony of childrens clothing and decided to do something about it. Not only is there a sad, boring range whitin boysclothing but also a stereotypical way of presenting clothes for girls. My daughter did´nt fit in that form at all.

How would you describe your brand?

Fun, comfortable, stylish and modern.

What is your favourite combination?

I love mixing patterns together. Stripes with dots, play with fabrics to create different patterns and possibilities and not being afraid of thinking “outside the box”

Where do you get your inspiration?

Everywhere I look. I go out on the streets where I live in Gothenburg, Sweden and look around to trend spot mens fashion and to translate that into unisex children wear.  I can also find inspiration in a fabric. It “talks” to me and tells me storys J

Do you have children? Which brands do you like the most for them?

I have two kids;  Nora,7 and Jack,3. They are a huge inspiration to the brand as well, off course. They´re the reason why it all started and why I´m constantly trying new stuff out. My kids wear mostly Marloe Jr. threads but also I love Bobo Chooses, Mini rodini, Pop up shop and Hummel for them.

You can find tank top, pants and sweater HERE or follow on instagram @marloe_jr_stylishkidinmotion .

The clothes are not only gorgeous, but the quality is excellent. Perfect. Just perfect.

Thank you Anneli,

xoxo

Copyright © 2019 · Babiekins Magazine | A Trendsetting Kids' Fashion Magazine and Online Community for Parents and Children Alike · Since the Southern California birth of Babiekins in 2010, the magazine has grown from a fledgling blog and digital-only format into an internationally-recognized print publication with a global circulation. We are more than a kids’ fashion magazine. We search everywhere for inspiration, and go beyond trends to bring you fashion, style, decor, design, books, DIY, parties, and playthings. Our readers look to us to keep up with the best and most up-to-date concepts in the children’s market worldwide. We have an eye for quirk. We’re high-fashion, but we value whimsy over tradition. Playful childhood is more important to us than making kids into copycat adults. We believe life is beautiful, life is valuable, and life changes when you see it through the eyes of a child. We seek to transcend skin color, language and zip codes and bring out the real, wild, magical creativity inherent in every child. And behind Babiekins is an optimistic team of mothers-turned-editors, working from home, often with our own little babiekins climbing on, under and around the desks. We want to encourage you, and challenge you to see something different — something special — in yourself and in this world we all share. Welcome to Babiekins!
