We all know December means peppermint and candy canes, but how about gumballs for a change?
This is a fun new take on the classic candy necklace, with a Christmas-y spin. They’re perfect for topping gifts, stuffing stockings, or giving out as party favors. You could even hang them on the tree as a whimsical ornament!
To make them, you’ll need:
gumballs {single color bags are available at party stores}
elastic thread
clean embroidery needle
ribbons
Thread your needle with the elastic thread and then carefully pierce each gumball, working slowly to string the gumballs like beads. Work slowly, as the gumballs have a tendency to crack when you’re making the second hole.
After the bracelets are your desired length, knot the elastic thread and trim any excess. Then cover the knot with a pretty coordinating ribbon.
