I hope wherever you go and whatever you do,
You challenge the world, and adventure finds you.

I have been loving shooting siblings, to encapsulate this one day in their world while bringing in a little magic with the light and styling. I’m interested in capturing their individual spirits, their connection to each other, the way their stories intertwine, and the moments in between. This is my third sisters shoot, with the same creative team, and they are always joy filled days.

Once again, petitePARADE, one of the leading references for the children’s fashion industry, partnered with Children’s Club, the top children’s apparel tradeshow in the US. They gave us an exciting first look into the trends for the upcoming F/W 18 collections. After stepping off the runway, the mini models stopped by my set backstage to show off the latest in kids fashion.
There were amazing designs from established clothing lines as well as many up and coming brands who are making a splash in the world of kid’s fashion! The nine brands included in the show were T.O. Collection, Charabia, Andy and Evan Kids, DL1961, Florence Fancy, Katie J, Lola and the Boys, Mon Doux Monde, and SORCI and FOFA.
These are all definitely looks you should keep an eye out for in 2018!
Winter unfolds it’s crystal branches, revealing life hidden inside and the inner world of magic. beyond the gate, the intensity of the sun survives…. intensifies…promising the splendors of grassy fields and songbirds.. of entwining vines and long days. for now, we take refuge in the magnificent unfolding and the unique shapes of snowflakes, and our own wonderment….

Gathering at the Jacob Javits Convention Center January 7th, teen runway veterans Hope, Mia, Abby Rae and Violet shared their insight on 2018 fashion trends. Orchestrating what is hopefully one of many to come, PetitePARADE hosted PetiteTALKS at Children’s Club. Their first ever panel discussion and live presentation encompassing social media, fashion trends, and growing up in the digital world. The girls reminisced their past PetiteParade experiences since the first show with Bonnie Young. They also spoke of their favorite current trends including denim on denim, vintage styles and leather.
During the teen’s chat, five darling mini models demonstrated several new exciting looks. Highlighting metallics, military inspiration, an asymmetrical jacket, a gorgeous ethereal combo, faux fur, unicorns and the cutest butterfly backpack you’ve ever seen! The specific colors used at the live presentation were: mustards, grays, silver, golds, browns, black, white and a few occasional splashes of bright color. It looks like metallics may be dominating in 2018! The styles were bold and beautiful, and definitely a bit of inspiration for the year to come!
