Fashionkins// A Whimsical Adventure Mediterranean Style

By Priscila Barros, Editor-in-Chief 3 Comments

Come along an adventure awaits…a deep blue ocean filled with wiggly, squiggly, fin flapping things; bubbles and bobbles that float to the shore; tiny sea urchins who dare not to bore. Climb aboard. There’s room for you too. Our adventuring captain is searching for fashionable crew. She’s raising the anchor and setting sail…grab your suit, your shades, and you’ll have quite a tale.

She may be little, but she’s ready to see all that the world has to offer to you and me. A world that is painted in brilliant colors…A world that is filled with simple wonders…A world that is short and tall and thick and thin…a world full of beauty both outside and in. Make new friends. Explore new lands. Let the magical mystery of difference begin.

If all were the same what a dud that would be, it’s our differences that give us the ability to see…unicorns in clouds, kindness in strangers, magnificent things in unlikely places. Each new place has a unique story to tell. Listen carefully and let your heart swell…with the waves in the ocean, with the fish in the sea, with the sun-kissed lemons on the Isle of Capri.

Bon Voyage for the Mediterranean Sea.

What started as a whimsical idea turned into a wanderlust reality this summer as The Borrowed Boutique gathered a crew from across the country and set sail. When stylish adventure calls…The Borrowed Boutique is quick to answer! Not only does this cutting edge rental boutique offer designer kids’ clothing options for photo shoots, weddings, and special occasions at a fraction of the retail price, they also offer fashion forward editorial concept design and styling. Here’s a glimpse into their latest venture across the Mediterranean.

I’m stunned by Grace Spath’s designs. She projects a wonderful combination of little girl innocence and fashionable style. Too bad the dress doesn’t come in my size!

Copyright © 2022 · Babiekins Magazine | A Trendsetting Kids' Fashion Magazine and Online Community for Parents and Children Alike · Since the Southern California birth of Babiekins in 2010, the magazine has grown from into an internationally-recognized print publication with a global circulation and now a thriving online community. We are more than a kids’ fashion magazine. We search everywhere for inspiration, and go beyond trends to bring you fashion, style, decor, design, books, DIY, parties, and playthings. Our readers look to us to keep up with the best and most up-to-date concepts in the children’s market worldwide. We have an eye for quirk. We’re high-fashion, but we value whimsy over tradition. Playful childhood is more important to us than making kids into copycat adults. We believe life is beautiful, life is valuable, and life changes when you see it through the eyes of a child. We seek to transcend skin color, language and zip codes and bring out the real, wild, magical creativity inherent in every child. And behind Babiekins is an optimistic team of mothers-turned-editors, working from home, often with our own little babiekins climbing on, under and around the desks. We want to encourage you, and challenge you to see something different — something special — in yourself and in this world we all share. Welcome to Babiekins!
